Faith to move a mountian
Matthew 17:20 NIV He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." Today I would like to have enough faith to move a collarbone and regrow some tendons. This verse has always made me feel really small, so right now I pray that God would give me a good dose of Faith.

I finished this drawing two days before I separated my shoulder in a skateboarding accident. My sketching days have been put on hold for a few weeks. God is teaching me a-lot during this time. Specifically how to rest. I am not able to run in the mornings, pick my kids up, paint, or give my wife a hug with two hands. I am impatient, but I know that God will bless me during this time. I feel like he has given me a scripture from Ephesians that I would like to share w/ you.
A Prayer for the Ephesians 3:14-21
For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

John 4:13-14 Jesus answered "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life"
When I drew this I felt like God was reminding me that Jesus died for each of individually, he covered us individually. It was not impersonal, or just a collective statement. He suffered on the cross so that each of us could have the choice of everlasting life. He died specifically to cover my transgressions. God reminded me last night just how personal he is.
