Walking through the fire

Posted by Picasa

Isaiah 43:1-2

1 But now, this is what the LORD says—
he who created you, Jacob,
he who formed you, Israel:
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
2 When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.

  1. Beautiful! I like that he seems to be carrying his harvest with him as well.

  2. I like this image, the mixture of water and fire. Also the mixture of growth and humanity. An of course the scripture. Seems that we need to hear it on a regular basis as we pass through things that are difficult.

  3. Valerie, Debbie, thank you. This image has been stuck in my head over the last week. I drew it several times and felt as if God took me though a definite process. I found the verse after drawing it and felt as if the verse brought closure and clarity to the drawing.
