The Cross could not best him
The Grave could not hold him
Death could not keep him
He willingly accepted our transgressions
Paid for us all
He died for YOU........
He would have done it even if you were the only one
You are that important to Him....
Interesting drawing, I'm looking at the eye of the needle and wondering about that in the narrative??
ReplyDeleteGood question. While sketching this God really impressed upon me that there are many distractions that will try to pull us away from the truth. The eye of the needle comes from Mark 10:25
ReplyDeleteIt is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.
This same quote shows up in Luke and Mathew as well. The Eye of the needle in this drawing reminds me of the the things in life that will try to pull me away. It reminds me that I can only serve one God. Money is a tool and can be used for good, but if I make it my God I am lost
Love it. Did you use markers?
ReplyDeleteI used sharpie markers. thx
