In Focus

Today I am asking myself where my focus is, and consiquiently where it should be. In praying through it I feel as if God is telling me that I may be missing what is right in front of me. I am so busy trying to see what is off in the distance that I am missing opportunities that are clearly in sight. I am reminded today to slow down, look right, left, up, and down and let God work through me.

Mark 8:22-26
They came to Bethsaida, and some people brought a blind man and begged Jesus to touch him.  He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit on the man’s eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus asked, “Do you see anything?”
He looked up and said, “I see people; they look like trees walking around.”
Once more Jesus put his hands on the man’s eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.  Jesus sent him home, saying, “Don’t even go into the village.”

  1. Very cool photo & meditation. "Do not worry about tomorrow" has so many applications, including missing today.

  2. Thanks for the comment Teague. I thought about this all weekend and feel it is a bit about not worrying about tomorrow and a bit about just opening my eyes to see what is happening right now.
