God's Painted Sky

Some of you may have noticed that I have been off line for a couple of weeks.  My family and I spent 11 days south of the boarder in a sleepy little area just south of Cabo San Lucas.  I took a break from work, blogging, and drawing.  The weather was warm and we spent most of our time in the water.  Each evening I would walk down the beach and marvel at God's painted sky.  I decided to create a slide show with some of my favorite moments as captured by my Nikon d7000.   When I look at the shear beauty of the sky I can't help but marvel at just how creative God is.

Question to ponder: How have you been impressed with God's creativity lately?

Romans 1:20

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities
his eternal power and divine nature
have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made,
so that people are without excuse.

  1. Wow, Patrick, those are some incredible photos! God's work combined with your captures make for an awesome collaboration. I hope that you and your family came back rested. I'm not sure if it's the more I seek God, the more I find of his beauty, or the more I seek his beauty, the more I find God; but I too can't help but marvel and wonder.

  2. Valerie, thank you for sharing. I think both of your answers are correct. The more we seek him the more we see his beauty, and the more we seek his beauty the more of him we find. His fingerprints are all around us.

  3. Very relaxing to watch, thank you for sharing.
I hate to be away from home when we travel but seeing more of God's creativity, like in the pictures you took, makes me feel comforted. He is everywhere.

  4. Dawn, I agree. I travel a-lot for work and find comfort in the fact that God is much bigger than the world that I can see and understand. I love that he reveals himself in unique ways, most often when I am least expecting it. Thank you for sharing.
